The story

The hardest appointment to get is often the one you need soonest. Phisitor is a name for the platform that makes it easier: a place to find a physician who is free, book online and meet on a screen from the kitchen table. The word does the explaining. Physician and visitor fold into each other, and what comes out is a doctor who calls on you rather than the other way round.

The house call, updated: the physician arrives by screen and nobody has to find a parking space

The main sketch shows exactly that, and calmly. A living room in pale blue and cream, a laptop on a wooden table, a doctor in a white coat smiling from the screen, and above it all 'Care, Wherever You Are.' It is the right register for health, warm without being chatty. A name in this sector has to sound as though it reads the notes carefully, and Phisitor, with its textbook 'ph', carries a faint air of the lecture theatre.

The other idea is quieter and possibly larger. The concept pairs consultations with readings from wearable sensors, passed to AI-based monitoring software that follows a patient's health between visits and keeps the physician informed. A second sketch puts it on a wrist: a man checking a white smartwatch that reads 72 beats a minute, under 'Track Your Health. Know Your Body.' The logo is already halfway there. Its final r runs out into a pulse line, so the wordmark looks like a reading before anyone has taken one.

Why it works

Digital health is full of names built from tele, doc and med, and they blur together. Phisitor builds its meaning from two familiar words without using either outright, so it sounds clinical enough to trust and fresh enough to notice. The pulse line trailing from the r in the logo gives the platform a mark that already looks like data.

Who this suits

  1. A telehealth start-up offering quick video appointments with general practitioners and specialists
  2. A remote-monitoring company pairing wearable sensors with software that alerts a patient's physician
  3. A private clinic group adding online booking and follow-up video consultations under one name

Suggested uses

  • a telehealth platform
  • an online booking service for physicians
  • a remote patient-monitoring app
  • a line of wearable health sensors
